At Holy Angels Preschool we recognise the importance of parents and guardians as primary carers. So before your child joins us we will call and arrange a settling in visit. This gives you and your child the chance to get to know the staff and ask lots of questions, and for us to find out as much as we can about your child's daily routine, likes, dislikes etc.
During the visit you will be introduced to your child's key worker, as each child has a special person to relate to, this helps us to build strong links between Holy Angels Preschool and home. Through daily observations and open conversations with you, the key worker will really get to know your child, so that we can provide continuous care for your child. They will also add to your child's online learning diary and plan the next steps for your child's learning. We do encourage you to also read your child's online learning diary and add in any interesting things that you have done outside of the preschool as this helps us to plan activities that they enjoy and are fun and they find stimulating.
Holy Angels hold parents evening where you can have more in depth conversations with your child's key worker. To further help us improve our services we also have a suggestion box in the setting. We welcome constructive feedback and if you think there is anything we have done particularly well, then we would love to hear about that too!
We operate an open door policy and welcome parents at any time during our working day. Just call in and find out what is going on and if you wish you could always help us with our fundraising. If you are happy to dedicate a bit more time, you may wish to join our Board of Trustees, we have parents past and present on our Board and new members are elected at our AGM in January, but can also be co-opted on during the year if there is a vacancy - you would be most welcome.
As a parent or carer, you will receive regular newsletters to keep you up to date with what is happening at Holy Angels Preschool and of course, we'd love you to keep in touch with us too.
